The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.

Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

The crew was fantastic. They made us feel comfortable and we're very engaging. The boat is very nice, clean and we'll maintained. Good facilities at the dock, too.

We got to the fishing grounds quickly, didn't spend a lot of time traveling, we fished!

Caught a lot of keepers and released even more.

i took my two kids out on this (15 and 13) and we had a great time. We caught a few fish and the guys on the boat kept out lines baited, worked out our birds nests quickly, and generally helped as much as we requested with tips and tricks. If you ask, they will help. If you want them to leave you to fish, they will. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to get out on the water at a reasonable cost and do a little sea fishing.

This was my first time drift fishing, but it will not be my last! I had a very fun time can caught a couple fish. It was a fun day! Would definitely recommend. Very good crew and boat.

I fish East Coast Florida party/drift boats regularly from the Keys to Cape Canaveral and the Blue Heron Fleet have the best mates I have encountered anywhere... Knowledge, and attentive is unbelievable. They are there to bait your hook, tie new hooks or leaders almost like there are a dozen of them. I have never seen the likes of it. Huzzah and kudos.
